| Description | This white paper introduces the concept and applicability of using the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) for constructing and conducting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) over the Internet. It is anticipated that XML will make the existing traditional EDI knowledge base more palatable to Internet Electronic Commerce (EC, a.k.a.
